Birds of prey show 2000 meters above sea level on Ahorn Mountain
From 11 June to 16 October 2011 at 2:00 pm (closed on Fridays)

Get a close-up wildlife experience at the Adlerbühne Ahorn in Mayrhofen. Watch eagles and other birds of prey soaring only a few centimeters above your head. The Adlerbühne on Leisure Mountain Ahorn offers many highlights:
  • Witness the spectacular aerial acrobatics and learn more about the birds.
  • Participate in the interactive show (auf Deutsch und Englisch).
  • Our professional falconer team provides interesting information about the art of falconry.
  • Be a falconer for one day and visit our Falconry Day where you will learn more about how the birds are fed, nursed and trained.
  • Europe's highest-located birds of prey center opens daily at 10:00 am. Entry is free of charge (except during the birds of prey show).
  • Easily accessible from the summit station of the Ahornbahn right in the Zillertal Alps

Distinctive features:
  • Males call bu-bubú booh booh
  • Females call bu-bububú booh
  • Their ear tufts have no hearing function
