ADLERBÜHNE AHORN

The Adlerbühne on Ahorn Mountain offers room for up to 800 visitors. Get a close-up wildlife experience with eagles, buzzards and owls gliding only a few centimeters above your head. If you would like to learn more about the art of falconry, we recommend our Falconry Workshop, where you have the opportunity to accompany the falconer and his birds of prey for one day (participants must be at least 15 years old).

Hiking on Ahorn Mountain

Our Leisure Mountain offers various hiking trails through fascinating alpine scenery, to rustic mountain huts and idyllic pastures. The Panorama Platform located 1,965 meters above sea level is the gateway to a true hiking paradise high up in the Zillertal Alps Nature Park. Take a stroll along the Leisure Trail, stopping at any of the many lookouts, the beautiful chill out garden, the lake Ahornsee or the barbecue area.

Café Ahornbahn

The Ahornbahn not only takes you quickly and comfortably up to the mountaintop world of Mayrhofen. In bad weather, Austria's largest cable car turns into a cozy café.

Zillertal delicacies

One of the highlights of each hike is the stop at one of the mountain huts. Sitting on an old wooden bench, enjoying the breathtaking view. Every Tuesday, selected huts at Ahorn Mountain offer traditional delicacies.

Early bird service

For early birds, the Ahornbahn starts operating as early as 7:30 am from 1 July 2011. Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise amidst the beautiful scenery of the Zillertal Alps.

Sunrise breakfast

Take a ride up to the Ahorn plateau 2000 meters above sea level and have a hearty breakfast at the Panorama Platform Zillertal.

FREIRAUM

At the 56 meters long, self-supporting panorama platform you find a cozy café/bistro which offers breathtaking views, comfortable lounge atmosphere and delicious food.
