Alpine Week - Suggestion
SUN
Take part in a guided tour and learn about the technical details of Austria's biggest cable car, the Ahornbahn. Afterwards, take a break in the chill out garden or at the barbecue area.
MON
Ascent with the Penkenbahn cable car. Be sportive and descend to Mayrhofen by foot or be brave and try a tandem flight to the valley.
TUE
Inhale fresh air up here at the Ahorn leisurely trail and try some Zillertal delicacies in one of the many mountain inns.
WED
Hike the mountain summit according to your fitness and wishes (e.g. Ahornspitze or Filzenkogel). Go to hiking suggestions for more detailed tour descriptions + interactive panoramic map.
THU
Have a breakfast at sunrise atop Ahorn Mountain (see video below). Watch the nature around you awakening to a new day and relax at the picturesquemountain lake.
FRI
Mountain biking or rock climbing on Penken Mountain. Numerous routes for various skill levels, our "via ferrata for everybody" and the new singletracks "Himmelfahrt" and "Höllenritt". A wide range of possibilities.
