In summer you start from the Penkenbahn and Ahornbahn summit stations to numerous mountain excursions and high altitude hikes. At the Penken you have a wide area of mountain pastures with well-maintained trails providing endless hiking possibilities also for families and senior guests.
In only six and a half minutes the Ahornbahn - Austria's biggest cable car - brings our guests to the beautiful Ahorn Plateau which gives way to the 372 km² high mountain nature park of the Zillertal Alps.
